Just doing some cleaning up and listing some of the things I have floating around in the one place. I came across this listing for my company from a few years back. Irish Search and Directory Ireland. I have changed the way the company gets listed anywhere quite a bit since then.
I wrote a list of Irish web directories quite some time back and it has been a very popular page on my blog. I ranked them according to PR and cost.
Now I am discovering that is not the only way they should have been ranked. Some of them, no matter how many links they have or how strong the PR or site itself just don’t link well enough internally.
What this means is that many of the pages with company listing are not indexed.
How much is it a complete waste of time submitting to a business directory that does not get all it pages indexed? I dispare with the web sometimes.
